Joseph Tartakovsky is Deputy Solicitor General at the Nevada Attorney General's Office. He practiced law with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, LLP. Mr. Tartakovsky was formerly a James Wilson Fellow in Constitutional Law at the Claremont Institute and a Senior Research Fellow at UC Berkeley Law. He earned his J.D. from Fordham University before clerking for Judge Paul J. Kelly, Jr., U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Mr. Tartakovsky is author of the forthcoming The Lives of the Constitution: Ten Exceptional Minds that Shaped America’s Supreme Law (Encounter Books).
